Clinic Locations

At Vision Correction London, we’ve hand-picked clinics and hospitals in and around the Harley Street area of London where you can be seen along each stage of your eye surgery journey.

All of our centres are accessible and have excellent facilities with state of the art technology.

Below is more in-depth information about each centre to help you plan your visit. All of our centres are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), meaning you can trust they uphold the highest possible standards of care.

Platinum Medical Centre

The Platinum Medical Centre is part of The Wellington Hospital and HCA Healthcare UK group. It is a stand-alone unit which provides excellent day case facilities. The £33 million building which houses The Platinum Medical Centre can be found at 15-17 Lodge Road just around the corner from Lord’s cricket ground.

The Platinum Medical Centre prides itself on being the UK’s largest private diagnostic and outpatient centre. It is easily accessible by tube, being very close to St. John’s Wood station which is serviced by the Jubilee line.

Within the Platinum Medical Centre you can find a coffee shop on the ground floor. This is an ideal waiting place for anyone you bring with you on the day of your surgery to grab a refreshment, alternatively they are also able to wait for you upstairs.

We operate at The Platinum Medical Centre every other Wednesday afternoon and we can happily operate on both self-pay and most insured patients.

As a patient at Optegra Eye Hospital you will have your own patient room. You will go to this room prior to your surgery where you will find a small unit to safely lock your belongings away. After your operation, you will return here to recover. There is always a spare seat in the recovery room so if you do bring someone with you on the day of your surgery they are welcome to wait for you here.

We operate at Optegra Eye Hospital every other Wednesday and Friday and can carry out all lens surgery here whether you are insured or self-pay.

The London Clinic

You can find the famous London Clinic on the prestigious Harley Street. The London Clinic is home to the dedicated Eye Centre where you have access to a wide range of diagnostic tests.

The new purpose-built home of the eye centre was opened in the summer of 2011 by HRH Princess Alexandra. The modern interior creates an open and clean feel to the clinic.

We hold consultations here every Tuesday morning where you can see our consultants and have a full range of diagnostic tests to enable us to agree a bespoke eye treatment plan for you. We can also perform YAG laser treatment here if necessary.

If you require surgery, we ask you to come to their hospital day unit around the corner at 20 Devonshire place where we have an operating list every other Friday afternoon.

The London Clinic Hospital is a large building located at the top end of Devonshire Place. The hospital inside has an authentic feel as the corridors are decked with wood. The elevator on the ward is one of our favourites with a seat to rest your legs on the way up to theatre!

We can book you in for treatment at the day surgery unit (DSU) at The London Clinic theatre whether you are self- pay or insured and run a list there every other Friday afternoon.
